DC Site Visits, Panels & Workshops

Going to GW, we are lucky to have access to the many resources DC has to offer.  Through DC Site Visits, Panels, Speakers, and Workshops GWWIB is able to offer an important perspective to female undergraduates as well as exposure to our greater Washington, DC community.

DC Site Visits

With the Nation's Capital at our finger tips, GWWIB has created a special series of programming called "DC Site Visits." Similar to the Annual Fall New York Trip, DC Site Visits include in-office info sessions as well as special tours of museums and historical sites.  These visits grant members the opportunity to pose questions to employees right here in DC. In the past GWWIB has visited various embassies, governmental agencies and non-profits headquartered in Washington.

Previous DC Site Visits include:

  • The Pentagon
  • The Saudi Arabian Embassy
  • The Grameen Bank
  • The Library of Congress
Panels & Workshops

GWWIB also hosts various business professionals on-campus. Each speaker event has a theme revolving around a certain sector. Whether it is a panel or a guest speaker, members continuously have the opportunity to learn more about an area they are interested in or learn something new.

Previous Panels, Speaker Events and Workshops include:

  • Consulting 101 with Deloitte and Accenture
  • Accounting Firms, The Big Four: Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, and Ernst & Young
  • An Introduction to Networking
