Buy your tickets
Make sure you buy your tickets as soon as possible. You do not want to wait until last minute just in case tickets run out. You definitely do not want to miss this awesome event (as if you didn't already know that)! Buy your tickets here.
Pick out your outfit
You want to make sure to pick out an outfit sooner, rather than later. Check out a previous post in our Spring Conference Series for more information on the perfect way to nail business chic. Don't forget to iron or steam your outfit if it needs it!
Prepare your “Briefcase”
Whether or not you are actually bringing a briefcase or your everyday purse, you should remember to pack these few things:
1. A pen or pencil
2. Your wallet (do not forget your GWorld)
3. A pair of flats (in case you want to hold out of heels!)
4. A water bottle
5. Your cell phone (Try not to be on it all day, though. You'll miss the Conference!)
6. The Essentials: gum, hand sanitizer, hairbrush, makeup, lip balm (you'll be at the Conference all day and want to be prepared and comfortable!)
Remember a business card or resume
Since you will be networking with a lot of keynote speakers and panelists, you will probably want to have a business card or resume on hand. It is more recommended, however, that you have a business card instead. If you do not have a business card, check out these fun ideas for a cute, and last minute business card.
Be ready to expand your boundaries
Remember that the whole point of this conference is that your potential is limitless. Come ready to meet new people and hear about new perspectives. So go into the conference with an open mind and get the most out of everything you experience!
Have fun (seriously!)
Like mentioned before, the Spring Conference is meant for you. Be prepared, learn new things, and overall, have fun - you want to get the most out of the day!
The Spring Conference Series, written by GWWIB Board members and former Spring Conference directors, is dedicated to preparing GWWIB members and guests of the conference with relevant, first-hand information about how to get the most out of their Spring Conference experience.
